This policy describes the ways Coindoodle Limited, hereinafter, “Coindoodle”, “we”, “our” or “us” collect, store, use and protect Personal Data. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that Coindoodle complies with applicable United States (US) federal and state regulations, and European Union (hereinafter, “EU”) data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter, “GDPR”). Coindoodle Services include merchant processing services, products, or any other features, technologies or functionalities (hereinafter: “Services”) offered by Coindoodle Users accept this Policy by visiting our website and/or by using our Services.


Virtual Financial Asset

As used herein, “Virtual Financial Asset” under Malta’s Virtual Financial Asset Act, 2018, also called “convertible virtual currency,” “cryptocurrency,” or “digital goods”, such as bitcoin or ether, which is based on the cryptographic protocol of a computer network that may be (i) centralized or decentralized, (ii) closed or open-source, and (iii) used as a medium of exchange and/or store of value.

There are six types of data subjects whose personal data we may process:

  2. Wallet users that have downloaded and installed either our app on their mobile device
  3. Shoppers who indirectly interface with us when paying a merchant’s invoice
  4. Shoppers who indirectly interface with us when requesting a cryptocurrency withdrawal via a Merchant that is using our Services.
  5. Visitors of our websites
  6. Merchants that sign up for our Services

Information you provide online and on applications or other forms, or through discussions we have with you or your representatives, such as your name, address, date of birth, investment experience, risk tolerance, and any information about your personal investment goals or objectives. Information about your transactions with or through us, such as your account balance, trading activity, and account history, if applicable.

Sensitive or special categories of personal data

We do not process any sensitive personal information, such as religion, race, ethnicity and/or political views.

Why we collect personal information

Our primary purpose for collecting Personal Data is to provide you with a secure, efficient, and customized experience. We can use your Personal Data to:

  1. investigate suspicious activities
  2. resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems;
  3. comply with applicable laws and regulations;
  4. customize, measure, and improve the services and the content and layout of our website and applications;
  5. collection of amounts outstanding from you
  6. manage our websites and services;
  7. provide the our Services and customer support you request;
  8. the day-to-day operation and maintenance of accounts and services;
  9. deliver targeted marketing, service update notices, and promotional offers based on your communication preferences;

We may collect personal information from visitors to our websites and individuals who participate in a promotion or survey. We may use this information to advise them of products, services and other marketing materials which may be of interest to them.

How we protect and store personal information/how we share personal data with third parties

If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we will ensure that the receiving party is in full compliance with GDPR rules through contractual clauses.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside of Malta. It may also be processed by staff operating outside of Malta who work for us or for one of our suppliers. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing, except customers located in the EEA, as detailed above. All information you provide to us is stored on our and/or third party cloud servers.

You have to know that we take security of data very seriously. We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to Personal Data only for those employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities. We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal data. We require you to enter a unique user name and password to access your account information online. Our servers are enabled with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing the personal information that you provide or access during a secure session (look for the padlock icon on your browser).

Data retention

Your personal data will be stored for the duration of your active subscription for general usage of the site and communication purposes.

If your subscription falls into inactive status, we will dispose of your data within days. In some 100 cases we may keep a hash of your e-mail address to prevent repeated usage of the free trial.

Merchants can review and edit their information by logging in to their account and reviewing their Personal Data under the Settings tab. If you wish to change information relating to your industry or company website, or if you wish delete your account, you can send an email to . If you choose to delete your account, we will mark your account in our database as "Closed".


We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent but we may share Personal Data with third parties to help us with our marketing and promotional projects. We may combine your information with information we collect from other companies and use it to improve and personalize our services and advertising.
